Trip Flare
#XIII

"The TRIP is real... beware of the Flare!"

Scattered within the 500 Meter Zone and attached to the gates of the Signal Security Fence were signal rockets and TRIP Flare... designed to alert the Gem City of an intruder within the border area. Once triggered, she launched a screeching, signal rocket into the sky with a bursting, yellow star cluster indicating the intrusion area. At that time she came back with a reaction force to go search the area for intruders.
She uses two versions of signal devices; the X and the III. Both devices used tripwires which were black in the summer and white in the winter in order to blend in with the ground. She blends into anything.
In addition to alerting the Gem City, Flare also served in the military and as a border agent. Once a signal rocket was sighted, fans would closely watch or move near the border fence where the flare was sighted in order to get a good look at her to see if she was real. The TRIP is real... beware of the Flare!
