Hello faithful fans of the GCRG!!! We have some exciting news for ya! On the morning of Sunday April 20th at Skyborn Skateland, your Gem City Rollergirls will be hosting an open scrimmage against R.O.C.K.(Rollergirls of Central Kentucky). It is sure to be a blast and you, our loyal fans, will get to check out some of the new talent we've acquired over the past few months! Admission is only $5 for those 12 and over and the kiddies get in for free! Doors open at 9:30 and the scrimmage kicks off at 10:00!!! See ya there Gem City!!!

Hey Dayton! The GCRG want to invite our fans to a lil video shoot for local rockers Atomic Johnny!! We need our fans on the sidelines cheering us on for a little mock derby action!!It's paramount that you wear your finest Gem City Rollergirls gear (if ya don't have any, there will be merchandise available for purchase)! Show up around 6pm this Wednesday March 5th at Skyborn Skateland and be a part of this awesome display of talent!!!
2/7/2008 Leap Day Skate-A-Thon!!!!
That's right folks! We're gonna be holding a skate-a-thon on February 29th with a portion of the proceeds going to the American Heart Association. All the info that you need is available to the right---->... SIGN UP NOW AND GET THOSE PLEDGES!
Also, we now have an open recruitment policy! If you are interested in becoming a skater, referee, or volunteer please come to our Sunday morning practice(10am-12pm) located at Skyborn Skateland!!!

We now have an open recruitment policy! If you wanna be a part of the GCRG, contact us and we'll get you on the floor faster than you can say MRI!!! Also, come out to bd's Mongolian Grill at the Greene on January 30th and watch some of our girls prepare your delicious consumables! It's a fundraiser of sorts, so come out and show your support for Dayton roller derby!!!!
Ok folks, here's the deal: We're having an orientation this Sunday between 10am and Noon at Skyborn Skateland! We are depending on Dayton to come through for us! The very future of the league is in your hands, Gem City! If you wanna see the GCRG survive, tell yer mom, aunt, niece, sister, half-sister, teacher, doctor, nurse, mayor, etc. that the Gem City Rollergirls are looking for dedicated, athletic, and spirited women to join us and help put Dayton on the map! We have come too far to see it all disappear! We also need refs and volunteers if we are to make the '08 season a reality! So tell everyone you know about us and tell them to be at Skyborn Skateland THIS SUNDAY at 10AM!!!!! Thanks Gem City!
